Physical Test :
After the written test, shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a physical examination. The purpose of this physical test is to check the physical fitness of the candidates. Candidates who qualify for the physical test will be eligible for the next selection stage.
The physical test will consist of the following:
1) 2.4 km run in 10 minutes
2) Sit-ups – 20 repetitions in 1 minute
3) Push-ups – 15 repetitions in 1 minute
4) Standing Broad Jump – 3 attempts (the best attempt will be considered)
I) Medical Examination :
After qualifying for the physical test, candidates undergo a medical examination. The purpose of this medical examination is to check if the candidates are physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer. Candidates who qualify for the medical examination will be eligible for the next selection stage.
II) The written test :
After qualifying for the medical examination, candidates will have to appear for a written test. The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions based on general knowledge, current affairs, English, mathematics, analytical skills, and Pakistan Studies. Candidates who qualify for the written test will be eligible for the next selection stage.
III) The interview :
After qualifying for the written test, candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of senior police officers. The purpose of the discussion is to assess the communication skills and personality of the candidates.
