IESCO: Islamabad Electric Supply Company is one of Pakistan’s famous Government-owned Utility companies. On November 01, 1961, it was incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The company’s authorized share capital is Rs. 1000 million, and its paid-up share capital is Rs. 987 million. The government has 100% ownership of IESCO. IESCO started operations in 1962 with a distribution of electricity to 390 villages covering an area of 6800 sq kilometers in the then Rawalpindi district, now comprising Chakwal, Jhelum and Attock districts Punjab province.
The Government of Islamabad has released a notification to recruit new employees in IESCO. The jobs are for the post of Bill Distributor, Line Superintendent, Junior Engineer, and Meter Reader. Both male and female candidates can apply. The primary responsibility of IESCO is to provide an uninterrupted quality electricity supply to its consumers as per their defined level of service.

2. For the post of Junior Clerk, a Graduate pass candidate with at least 2nd Division marks is eligible to apply.
3. For the post of Lineman, a Matriculation pass candidate with at least 2nd Division marks and ITI in Lineman Trade from an institute recognized by the government is eligible to apply.
