Pak Polytechnic Institute Lahore Job is one of Pakistan’s most famous and largest technical institutes. It offers various courses in different engineering, technology, architecture, and business administration branches. This institute was founded in 1963 by the Government of Punjab and is affiliated with the the University of Engineering and Technology (Lahore). The campus is spread over 100 acres with a beautiful landscape providing its students with a perfect environment for learning. The institute also has a well-equipped library with the latest books and journals to support students’ studies.
Today, the Lahore government has announced that it has decided to reopen the Pak Polytechnic Institute Lahore. The decision was taken after a long time of closure. The institute will also be reopened for admissions in different fields of engineering. The institute is currently run by the Punjab government and will be reopened for entries on 22 June 2022.
The admission process for all courses will begin on 20 June 2022. The candidates who want to be admitted to this institute can apply from June 2022 onward and submit their application forms until July 2022. After that, they will have to appear in a test/interview, which will be conducted by the Punjab government.

Eligibility Criteria :
Here are the following eligibility criteria:
1- Applicants must have at least a Master’s degree or equivalent in their relevant field of study from any recognized university or institute.
2- Applicants should have at least two years of teaching experience after obtaining their master’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute.
3- Applicants working as Associate professors in any college may also apply for this job. Still, they will be given preference over others if they meet all other eligibility criteria.
4- Lecturers should have at least two years of teaching experience in their relevant field after obtaining their master’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute.
5- Technician level jobs require having an ITI certificate issued by the government regulatory body for the respective trade/profession (SITC).
6- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field.
7- The candidate must have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Selection Procedure :
The selection process is going to be based on the following criteria:
- 1. Personal Interview
- 2. Written Test
- 3. Trade Test/ Practical Test
- 4. Medical Examination
- 5. Document Verification
Personal Interview :
The candidates selected for the personal interview will be called for it. The personal interview is of two types:
1- Written Test :
The written test will be conducted to evaluate the candidates’ general knowledge, aptitude and intelligence level. The test will consist of 20 questions each with 1 mark each. Each question carries equal weightage. The duration of the written test is 90 minutes, and it will be held at Lahore Campus only.
2- Trade Test/ Practical Test :
Trade Test/ Practical Test is required for admission to any educational institution. This test is conducted by different organizations to check a candidate’s skills. The candidates who pass the Trade Test/ Practical Test are eligible to get admission in various courses at this institute. The candidates have to appear in the trade test/ practical test according to the schedule given by the institute.
3- Medical Examination :
The candidates who want to get admission to this institute must undergo a medical examination and provide all the required documents. After that, they will be allowed to be admitted to this institute.
4- Document Verification :
Document verification is a process to verify the documents of any candidate or employee. In this document verification process, we demonstrate the papers presented by the applicant for employment purposes.
